El 27 de febrero se public\u00f3 en Nature el primer art\u00edculo sobre la tecnolog\u00eda de impresi\u00f3n 3D en 2024. Un equipo de investigaci\u00f3n del Instituto de Metales de la Academia China de Ciencias public\u00f3 un art\u00edculo titulado \"Alta resistencia a la fatiga en una aleaci\u00f3n de titanio mediante impresi\u00f3n 3D casi sin huecos\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El art\u00edculo sostiene que las microestructuras impresas en 3D subyacentes tienen una resistencia a la fatiga naturalmente elevada y que la degradaci\u00f3n de esta propiedad puede deberse a la presencia de microporos. Los esfuerzos convencionales para eliminar los microporos suelen provocar el engrosamiento del tejido, mientras que el proceso de reacondicionamiento del tejido trae consigo la reaparici\u00f3n de la porosidad e incluso desencadena nuevos inconvenientes, como el enriquecimiento de la fase \u03b1 en los l\u00edmites de grano, lo que dificulta el dilema de la microestructura tanto para los esfuerzos de entrada como de salida.
En el curso de su investigaci\u00f3n sobre el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico, el equipo del CAS descubri\u00f3 una ventana clave del proceso de postratamiento en la que la transformaci\u00f3n de fase y el crecimiento de grano de las aleaciones de titanio impresas en 3D a altas temperaturas son as\u00edncronos. La transici\u00f3n de fase \u03b1 a \u03b2 se produce inmediatamente con un recalentamiento suficiente, y aunque se ha alcanzado la temperatura de crecimiento de la fase \u03b2, los l\u00edmites de grano necesitan un periodo de gestaci\u00f3n para reorganizarse. Aprovechando esta valiosa ventana de tratamiento t\u00e9rmico, los investigadores identificaron un m\u00e9todo de tratamiento t\u00e9rmico que combinaba el prensado isost\u00e1tico en caliente con un tratamiento de corta duraci\u00f3n a alta temperatura, con el que se lograba el refinamiento del tejido y se evitaba el enriquecimiento de la fase \u03b1, as\u00ed como la reaparici\u00f3n de microporos, preparando en \u00faltima instancia aleaciones de titanio casi microporosas impresas en 3D en estado casi impreso.<\/p>\n\n\n
